This project I responded to a typographic ISTD brief 'Not just fleuron's'. The task was to celebrate plants and gardens and their role in our loves. Plants have always played a strong role in our lives throughout history. One of their many uses has been to act as symbols to convey messages through my research I discovered Floriography- The Victorian language of flowers. My response to the brief celebrated this form of communication. I designed flowers to be laser cut out with their meanings typewritten onto them, alongside a concertina expanding on the meaning of each bloom and their messages together.
